PREPARED SPEECHES
Connie- “Let's Talk Rubbish”
For her “Demonstration talk” from
an advanced manual, Connie chose to do a speech about garbage and how
we can reduce the amount of garbage we produce.
Everyone knows about the three R's.
- Reduce- Buy and use less items
- Recycle- Don't just toss anything in the bin.
- Repurpose- Find new and interesting ways to use 'garbage'
Connie concentrated on the 'Repurpose'
method for paper garbage because of the limited speaking time that
she had. With the help of props, Connie was able to explain how to
make each item.
